1. Who we are

Last Myth Studios ("we", "us") develops and publishes games such as Mythshards and operates lastmythstudios.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your choices are. Questions: hello@lastmythstudios.com.

2. Data we collect in the games

Game progress: phases completed, stars, coins, gems, boosters, achievements and settings. It is stored on your device and also on our servers, tied to a random player ID generated on first launch (not linked to your name). The server is the reference for currencies and rewards, which lets us recover your progress and prevent cheating.

Nickname: the nickname you choose is shown to other players on the weekly ranking and in the Hall of Legends, together with your position and the offerings you received. Messages you write on your altar are also visible to whoever makes an offering.

Reminders: if you turn notifications on in the settings, the game schedules local reminders on the device itself (lives full, daily reward). No data leaves the phone for this.

Technical data: device model, operating system version, game version, language, crash reports and gameplay events (for example, which phase was played and whether it was won). We use this to fix bugs and balance the game.

This version has no real-money purchases, subscriptions or advertising, so we process no payment data. If commercial features are added in the future, the app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store) will process payments and this policy will be updated first.

We do not require an account, name or email to play. You can delete all your data at any time from within the game, in Menu → Account → Delete account: the server erases the progress, nickname, ranking and offerings tied to your ID, and the device returns to a fresh-install state.

3. Data you give us on this website

Support, bug report and account-linking forms send us what you type: email, optional phone number, player ID, nickname, message and any screenshot you attach. We use it only to answer you, fix the reported problem or verify you when you ask to recover your progress.

Newsletter sign-ups store your email so we can send the updates you asked for. Every message has an unsubscribe link.

4. Why we process it and for how long

Legal bases: performing the service you asked for (playing, support, recovery), our legitimate interest in keeping the game stable and fair, and your consent for optional items such as the newsletter and phone number.

Support and bug tickets are kept for up to 24 months. Account-linking records are kept while your player ID exists. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months. You can ask us to delete any of it earlier.

5. Who we share it with

Service providers that act on our instructions: hosting (Vercel), database for game progress, telemetry and public rankings (Supabase) — your nickname, weekly position and first-to milestones are visible to other players, email delivery (SMTP2GO), crash reporting and analytics (Unity), app stores for distribution. We do not sell personal data and we do not show third-party advertising in Mythshards.

6. Children

Our games are rated for players 12 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to hello@lastmythstudios.com with your player ID. Uninstalling the game deletes the data stored on your device. Residents of Brazil (LGPD), the EU/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA) have these rights by law; we extend them to everyone.

8. Security and transfers

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and is stored with providers that follow industry security standards. Our providers may process data in the United States and the European Union under standard contractual safeguards.

9. Changes

We will post any change to this page and update the date above. Significant changes will also be announced inside the game.
